We would like to promote local employment by developing an available public posting of jobs located within the area.  Prospective employee resumes and skills profiles may be reviewed at our location, or with certain identity restrictions, they may be mailed or faxed to your business for you to review.

We also would like to become a larger supporter for the continuation of secondary education (High school diploma or equivalent), and post-secondary education (Certificate courses, Associate’s Degree or higher). We can help manage the financial burden, upon the client, by researching financial aid information, and different organizations that provide scholarships to those in need.

Every child deserves to be protected from abuse of any kind. If you suspect that a child is being abused, please call the hotline at any time. Our case workers investigate and report abuse. Our case workers will also work with all parties involved to prevent any further abuse.

Domestic Violence

No one deserves to be abused in any way. Our caseworkers can help you through your domestic violence situation.

Temporary Assistance

Temporary Assistance is temporary financial help for needy families or individuals. There are several kinds of assistance, Family Assistance (FA ) and Safety Net Assistance (SNA), Emergency Aid to Families (EAF) and other programs.

Family Assistance

Family Assistance is for families with a minor child in the household. You can receive TA for up to 60 months throughout your lifetime.

Medical Assistance

There are several types of Medical Assistance available: Medicaid, Child Health Plus, Family Planning and Medicare Savings Program. Eligibilty for a program depends on your income.  Your caseworker will determine what you are eligible for from the information you supply on the application.

Child Support

Children are entitled to financial support from both parents. Under New York law, a parent is to provide financial support for a child until the age of 21. Even if the parents were never married or ever lived with the child, they are obligated to provide support. Any parent who does not live with their child may be ordered to pay support.
