It is the policy of Hamilton County Community Services to provide essential services regardless of the patient's ability to pay. Hamilton County Community Services offers services to all patients on a sliding fee scale based on family size and income based on the 2024 Federal Poverty Guidelines (FPG). Hamilton County Community Services will base program eligibility on a person's self-reported family size and annual income and will not discriminate on the basis of an individual's race, color, sex, national origin, disability, religion, age, sexual orientation, or gender identity. The Federal Poverty Guidelines are used in creating and annually updating the sliding fee schedule to determine fees. Hamilton County Community Services is dedicated to providing services free or low cost. Any charges are nominal and not related to the actual cost of services. The actual cost of services is covered by public funding and grant funding.
